About Us

The AEDR is non profit organization of all those interested in diabetes and endocrinology research. The organization conducts conferences, webinars, research workshops , grant disbursement, facilitation of filing patents, publication and dissemination of endocrine research and patient education camps.

We also have patient advocacy groups to have 360 degree feedback on our research activities.The membership is voluntary but mandatory in order to participate in major events.

Out Vision

The association sees itself playing a major role in generating evidence for treatment of endocrine disorders. We aim to pioneer micro-research–i.e the research at the level of individual clinicians as well as scientist having preliminary equipments to carry out small research projects . We believe such micro-research can generate evidence and data to be of translational value, and thin in turn can xchange

Our Mission

We foster and facilitate research among those working in the field of diabetes and endocrinology and to bring the stakeholders under one umbrella.

Organization Structure

The stakeholders of the association consists of President, secretary members of Scientific and Executive bodies. The president , Secreatry and executive members to elected for the post by amongst members by one member-one vote. The President in consultation with executive committe will appoint Scienttific committe members. All members can organize conferences, CME, and get funding for research projects. The organizatin aims to raise fundings through free willing donations. Please note we do not accept donation from outside of republic of India at present.

Each year a General Body Meeting will be held where matter pertaining . In case Physical meeting cannot be organized due to unforeseen circumstances, a virtual GBM can be held within 3 months of end of preceding financial year.The financial audit of the association will be emailed to all the members at the end of financial year.
